Today was the day I officially became a United Arab Emirates resident of Dubai, check it out kids...
And yes, to all you guys wondering it says in big letters" Occupation: House Wife"
In celebration of this we decided to go ethnic for lunch... Check out Leila's at Mirdiff City Center in Dubai it was delish.
Later a little caffeine buzz @ The chocolate Bar on our way to the art supply store at the Mall of Emirates... No we did not have any chocolate, but I flipped through the menu about 4 times before Alex brought me to reality asking me "how could you torture yourself that way..." I giggled and quickly flipped the beautiful bound menu closed and counted to 10..." Chocolate is an addiction people and there is no other way around it.
It has been long over due that A.Silva gave a little Asilva.com attention here in the middle east, I am proud to say that Alex has finally picked up the brush again.
(Yes I'm grinning from ear to ear, I know you are too except the question is why the hell has it been so long? well I think we may run out of wall space once again, I'll keep you posted..)
Alex flung the front door open and the plastic wrap around the canvas swept across the floor and the paint bottle lids were popped before you could say *Yalla!. He splashed paint across the canvas once again.. the paint seeped into the canvas , his eyes wide as he glared into this masterpiece that he was creating once again..
It was as if in that very moment I felt as he did as he looked down at the painting and that I could hear his own thoughts, I'm Home...
Silva will kill me for this but this is just a sneak peak swatch of the masterpiece...shh
The turn out - The most incredible paintings for over our bed / Pure Bliss / Laid up in bed with a back ache (Poor guy did one too many dips over the large canvas...lol...)
